Summit Christian College, based in Gering, Nebraska, United States, was established in 1951 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska as Platte Valley Bible College.

It offers on-campus and distance education programs leading to one-year certificates and two- and four-year degrees in the areas of Bible and ministry, Christian education, missions, and management and ethics.

The college is historically affiliated with non-denominational, Christian churches and churches of Christ of the Restoration Movement.The campus itself is conveniently located off the walking trail that leads to the top of the Scotts Bluff National Monument.

We are also located within easy driving distance to the Chimney Rock landmark on the Oregon, California, and Mormon Trails, the Wyoming Rocky Mountains and Laramie Peak to the west, South Dakota’s Black Hills to the north and the Colorado Rocky Mountains and the Front Range to the south.
